Art appraisal – expert valuation of your art
Looking for an art appraisal? Konstfeber offers professional valuation of art - paintings, prints and sculpture - together with leading experts in the Swedish art trade. Our art appraisals draw on over 50 years of experience and give you a dependable market benchmark for sale, insurance or planning.
How to request an art appraisal
For a thorough art appraisal, contact Mikael Amnell through the contact form on the home page or by email using the address below. In your message, describe the work: subject matter, dimensions, artist if known, and anything else that matters - we will respond with personal guidance.
For the most helpful art appraisal, please include in your message:
- A clear description of the work - subject, condition, frame and similar details
- Whether there is a signature and, if so, where it appears on the work
- Dimensions (height and width)
- Background on the object - for example where it may have been acquired or previous ownership
Appraiser
All valuations via Konstfeber are overseen by Mikael Amnell - an independent appraiser appointed by the Swedish Chambers of Commerce.
On-site valuation
Valuation at your location
Do you have a large number of objects you wish to have valued? Our appraisers can in such cases offer the possibility of valuing the art on site. To make this possible, we need to form an understanding of the objects' potential values and geographical location. Contact us through the contact form and mention in your message that you would like an on-site valuation.
Book an appointment
There is also the possibility of having your art valued at our established appraisers' premises. You bring the art yourself after booking an appointment and receive a quick and straightforward valuation. Get in touch via the contact form to book a time.
From valuation to sale
If after a completed valuation you wish to sell the object, Konstfeber's experts can help you with that as well. With an extensive network and broad expertise, we help you find the right buyer or auction house to carry out a sale.
Please note that all valuations provide an estimated market value. The object must be owned by you in order to be valued. A valuation cannot be considered proof of authenticity.
